1. What Verify is
Verify is an AI-orchestrated fact-check pipeline that queries multiple deepfake-detection and reverse-image services in parallel and synthesizes a probabilistic verdict for professional journalists and OSINT researchers. Verify outputs are probabilistic, source-transparent, and are notlegal or editorial determinations.
2. Editorial responsibility
Every Verify report carries a "not for editorial use without human review" banner. You, the user, remain responsible for every editorial decision made on the basis of a Verify output. Verify is a triage tool, not a fact-check authority.
3. Account and payment
Paid plans (Pro at $29/month, Team at $299/month) are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You can cancel any time from your account page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Verify to: harass individuals, produce content that could be used to deceive editorial processes, reverse engineer the detection providers we route to, or run automated requests that exceed the published rate limits. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. Data and privacy
Data residency is in the EU (Frankfurt). Your checks are stored against your account and visible only to you unless you explicitly share them via a public share link. See the privacy policy for the full data-handling picture and the DPA for Team-tier data-processing terms.
6. Warranty disclaimer
Verify is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. The probabilistic outputs reflect the state of the detection providers at the moment of query — they may change, conflict, or be wrong. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.
7. Changes
We update these terms when our product changes. Substantive changes will be announced via email and on the home page. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
